I am a passionate AI Researcher working on data-intense systems and machine learning. I am currently working at Samsung Research Brazil.

I recently concluded a 3-year postdoc at the Machine Learning and Data Engineering group of the University of Münster, Germany. I finished my Ph.D. in January 2020, at University of Münster, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gottfried Vossen (Databases and Information Systems group) and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Fernando Buarque de Lima Neto (Computational Intelligence Research Group). My research interests focus on the application of Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning in Data Management for enabling non-technical users to query and purchase data. In 2014, I received my Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pernambuco, Brazil, where I researched Computational Semiotics approaches for intelligent decision-making support.

My research addresses data-intense systems and applications:

• Query by Example and data exploration in relational databases.
• Data Marketplaces and decision support via evolutionary computation.
